This lesson covers students presenting their research projects, a discussion over Jose de San Martin, and a Timeline. Pass out tickets based on what they scored on the rubric. (If a student scores 8 points, they get 8 tickets.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>YOU WILL NEED:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>tickets and &#8220;Rubrics for Grading Creative Projects in the History Revealed Curriculum&#8221; by Diana Waring<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Discuss what students liked about the presentations. What made one more interesting or engaging than another? We watched the below video <em>Jos\u00e9 de San Mart\u00edn : The General Who Liberated South America by History Uncovered<\/em>. (We watched it at 1.75 speed.)<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Go over Question 7 on Jos\u00e9 de San Mart\u00edn from p. 73 from &#8220;World Empires, World Missions, World Wars&#8221; by Diana Waring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>YOU WILL NEED:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1600926487\/?tag=hubacct7155-20\">World Empires, World Missions, World Wars by Diana Waring<\/a> (brought by students)<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<h2>Option 2: Timeline<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>If you have extra time, another option (which we did not do) would be to begin completing the outline from pp. 82-83 from &#8220;World Empires, World Missions, World Wars&#8221; by Diana Waring<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>YOU WILL NEED:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>World Empires, World Missions, World Wars by Diana Waring and something to write with (brought by students)<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Go over homework for next week. During the last unit, some students had questions about the maps, so have everyone turn to page 86 in the books to see where the directions are for the maps.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Homework<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Complete one or both of the maps on pp. 87-88. The directions are on p. 86. (You\u2019ll get 4 tickets per map you complete.)<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><em>Optional:<\/em> Using pp. 94-97 for ideas, consider which Creative Expression project you\u2019ll do on Oct. 30. Begin working on it. It should be on a different person\/event than your research project.
